I humanise the dead windows and doors. I place against them wooden frames covered with transparent tape and hair. Across the street there will be the same size of frame with flourescent green tape and hair are arranged at a rect angle. The border between is marked with a cross constructed from both, the boarder line and the connection between the two sets of frames.
The same morning of the installation, the windows were opened. Coincidentally the building became a construction site. The installation itself became a part of history: history and the present became one. With the opening of the windows, both framing devices were repositioned on the sidewalk.
